Who can be a Knowledge Partner?
AFS is seeking high level relationships with institutions that bring value to the program of the Youth Assembly through its renowned expertise. AFS is also seeking community based partnerships with organizations to further expand our capacity of knowledge on pertinent topics from local experiences on the ground.
What is the role of Knowledge Partners?
Knowledge partners contribute knowledge, experience, resources, and connections to enhance the program of the AFS Youth Assembly. Partners may share innovative, cutting-edge solutions to challenges being addressed at the Youth Assembly.
The concepts, panels and workshops of the Youth Assembly are developed through a collaborative approach with the partner as detailed below.
- Provide valuable resources and expertise on topics at the Youth Assembly which may include:

- Advising on approach to thematic area and collaborating on developing concepts
- Sharing research from your institution to help shape the Youth Assembly program (ie. innovative solutions and data for panel concept notes and workshop topics)
- Recommending and connecting with high level speakers and organizations in the field
- Speaking at the Youth Assembly on session(s) relevant to the organization’s work

- Help promote the Youth Assembly program in your networks through social media, newsletters and internal/external communication.
