Kwamena Addo Nhyira Hammond is an open-minded individual with a positive, responsive, and adaptive skill-set for any form of change. He is the Ambassador from Ghana to the AFS Youth Assembly. He doubles as the current West Africa Regional Representative of Man Up Campaign, Inc., which is a global campaign to activate youth to stop violence against women and girls. Furthermore, he is a KL-YES alumni and holds a bachelor’s degree in BSc. Marketing.
He has over three years of experience in start-up management and strategizing marketing plans. He has been involved in several community projects in Ghana with CSIR-IIR, GRIPE, KL-YES alumni, and other organizations. On his current entrepreneurial journey and his passion to bolster support for youth entrepreneurship across all borders, his vision entails the establishment of a conglomerate of sustainable and profitable intercontinental businesses.
Furthermore, he has over eight years of volunteer experience with the AFS-IEP Ghana and is a volunteer with the Ghana Recycling Initiative for Private Enterprises (GRIPE), which aims to implement innovative and sustainable plastic management solutions in Ghana. This has involved sensitizing the public about plastic waste and partaking in clean-up exercises and plastic buy-back activities.
