“The Youth Assembly is a great opportunity to create global friendships and together discuss solutions addressing global issues.”

Delegate to the 27th Youth Assembly, Leticia is a student at the University of Salamanca studying Global Studies. From a very young age, she has been involved in various social impact projects implementing the SDGs. As a university student, she is particularly interested in public international law, political science and state relations, in which she hopes to specialize in the future.

Originally from El Salvador, she has had the opportunity to get involved and help directly in different situations of social inequality and extreme poverty. She is the founder of the Electi Interact SS South Club, a member of the Rotary International family. This is an organization of young people willing to make a change for the country, who as kind, knowledgeable and principled agents of change, seek to provide humanitarian services in the different communities, and little by little, contribute to fostering goodwill and peace.

She currently participates in different volunteering and activities that seek to promote social equality, with organizations such as the Red Cross and Cajas Solidarias. She has participated in a European Union Model and in several United Nations Models.
