Young leaders with an idea for a social impact project that contributes to the Global Goals competed for the Global Impact Challenge. Discover the winning projects submitted to regional GAIN Hub, receiving mentorship and seed funding for their venture.
The winners:
- received their award during the closing ceremony of the Youth Assembly
- were featured prominently on our global platforms
- received mentorship on social entrepreneurship
- earned the opportunity to pitch their ideas to experts in the field, and receive seed funding for the implementation of their projects
All finalists received feedback to further develop and improve their social impact project proposals.

Expedición ODS is a project with a mission to educate children, youth and teachers about sustainable development goals, climate change and responsible consumption and production in schools of Yopal and Pitalito Cities in Colombia reaching indigenous communities and children in vulnerable situations.
PK ECO STORAGE BY PATIENCE KORPO KOENIG
PK Eco storage is a project that focuses on using eco-friendly storage to reduce post-harvest food waste and maximize yield in energy-starved Liberia. PK Eco storage focuses on SDG 2: Zero hunger, SDG 7: clean and affordable energy.
FUTURE FOOD PROJECT BY TUNDE OYEBAMIJI
Future Food Project will accelerate the decline of childhood malnutrition, hidden hunger and rural poverty in Nigeria through technology-driven insect farming and processing that creates jobs and promotes human dignity. The venture focuses on SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being.
