This hands-on program offers direct exposure to the United Nations and international organizations, combining expert insight, practical training, and real-world simulations. How the program works

Through a variety of expert-led talks with UN officials and global policy leaders, interactive skills workshops and training sessions, multilateral conferences and diplomacy simulations, exclusive guided visits to UN agencies and international organizations, career development and mentoring sessions participants will immerse themselves in the world of the United Nations in the global city of Geneva.

The Academy is designed to be interactive and participatory, combining lectures, group discussions, case studies, practical exercises, and role-playing simulations. Participants will actively engage in problem-solving activities, share insights, and apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios. Multimedia tools and real-world scenarios bring learning to life, helping you build confidence, critical thinking skills, and practical experience for international environments.

The UN Institute of Training and Research – International Affairs Academy is open to motivated youth and young professionals (18-35 years old) with a strong interest in global affairs, diplomacy, and international cooperation.
