Hugo Enrique Osorio holds a BA with honors degree in Politics & International Relations and a Masters degree in International Law from the UK.
He began his work as a teenager working from London representing the different needs of the Latin American migrant population in different political and social platforms. He had the opportunity of intervening in different forums within The London Assembly, The House of Commons and then later on represented Colombia in the prestigious Global Forum for Young Diplomats in London (2019). He was also chosen as delegate in The UN Youth Plenary and ECOSCOC Young Leaders forum in (2020).
Hugo leads two social organizations; The GKC foundation focused on UN Sustainable Development Goal (SGD) 4 by which he has supported over 250 children with schooling equipment, nutrition, extracurricular activities and psychological therapy for their families aimed at parenting and life skills. With his second project; Dream & Impact (Sueña e Impacta) focused on SDG 17 he has visited over 25 cities in Colombia offering over 300 workshops, seminars and conferences based on social entrepreneurship and youth leadership. He uses his own example of his life in the UK as an immigrant to motivate young people that all dreams can be achieved but we must also look for ways in which we can support our communities. He has focused his professional life on supporting youth in becoming social activists and strong leaders that can greatly impact their communities by helping them strengthen their own charity organizations and social enterprises.
In 2021 Hugo won a scholarship aimed at the 30 top Young people in Colombia changing politics.
