Lulwa is a Bahraini youth activist, and year 5 medical student in Arabian Gulf University. She is interested in SDGs, ensuring human rights for everyone, sustainable diplomacy development and supporting the advancement of women role in GCC and MENA region. She is passionate about SDG 1: No poverty.
Volunteering has been an important part of Lulwa’s life. She participated in BH Model United Nations program 2020 run by Sh. Mohamed bin Mubarak AlKhalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies belonging to Ministry of Foreign Affairs in which learned about regional issues and practiced diplomatic skills, leadership skills, commitment and knowledge of SDGs. Moreover, she joined the Youth Summit 2020 of the ministry of youth affairs. It was held by his highness Sh. Nasser Bin Hamad AlKhalifa, The king’s Representative for charitable and youth Affairs, The president of the supreme council for youth and sports. Furthermore, she attended Bahrain Ambassadors program of Bahrain Institute for political Development which was a series of diplomatic lectures presented by a number of Bahraini ambassadors around the world. The lectures contained legal and political side, human rights, basic skills to represent the country professionally.
Lulwa strongly believes in the role of youth in global development. As an ambassador, she wants to show the world the great effort of Bahrain in achieving SDGS and to empower and inspire the youth to serve humanity and earth.
