After attending the Youth Assembly, delegates return to their local communities with renewed energy and inspiration, ready to ignite positive change and make a lasting impact on the world around them.

- Implementing Action Plans: Put their newfound knowledge and skills into action by implementing the action plans and strategies developed during the Youth Assembly to address pressing global issues in your community.
- Joining Alumni Networks: Joined alumni networks and communities to stay connected with past attendees, shared experiences, and supported each other in their ongoing efforts to make a difference. The most active alumni get the chance to shape future AFS Youth Assemblies by becoming members of our Youth Advisory Council.
- Pursuing Further Education: Some pursued further education, training, or certifications in areas related to their interests and goals, such as social entrepreneurship, sustainability, or leadership development.
- Engaging in Local Initiatives: Got involved in local initiatives, organizations, or projects that align with the themes and objectives of the AFS Youth Assembly, and contributed to positive change in their community.
- Seeking Mentorship and Support: Sought mentorship and support from experienced professionals, mentors, or peers to guide them in their personal and professional development journey and help them overcome challenges.
- Sharing Experiences: Shared their experiences, insights, and lessons learned from the Youth Assembly with their friends, colleagues, and community members to inspire others and amplify the impact of participating at the event.
- Continuing Advocacy Efforts: Continued advocating for social justice, environmental sustainability, human rights, and other causes that are important to them, and used their voice to drive positive change on a local, national, and global level.
- Becoming an Ambassador: AFS Youth Assembly Ambassadors are our alumni from around the world who are looking to become pioneers in their community, help youth have a voice on the global stage and represent the mission of the AFS Youth Assembly. They form delegations and empower other young leaders from their communities to experience the power of the AFS Youth Assembly.
