“I’m honored to speak at the Youth Assembly as the UNA-USA Youth Observer! I hope to engage delegates in meaningful dialogue on how youth can lead in global advocacy.”

Ose studied Political Science and Chinese at The Ohio State University. They are currently based in Brooklyn, New York and work as a Policy Specialist at Google. They are passionate about making the United Nations more accessible and aspire to become a U.S. Foreign Service Officer in the future. Ose previously served as a UNA-USA Global Goals Ambassador, a Truman Scholar, and as a proud queer American of Nigerian heritage, received several awards for their work on LGBTQIA+ and anti-racism advocacy. They’ve leveraged the power of journalism and media in much of their social justice work as a youth organizer, writing compelling articles and gaining recognition from (GLSEN), Red Table Talk, TIME Magazine and Cartoon Network. They are currently the 12th UNA-USA Youth Observer to the UN.
