“The achievement of the SDGs relies on fostering solidarity and forging robust partnerships across sectors. Education, as a leading force in promoting sustainability, demands particular attention and commitment with little time left until the 2030 agenda needs to be realized.”

Dana Al-Anzy is a multi-sector strategic partnership approach specialist with the Education Above All Foundation and has experience working with UNHCR in Refugee-led Organizations at the HQ in Geneva and the Zaatari Refugee Camp. She is a member of the first Youth Assembly Advisory Council setting the Agenda for the 28th Session in 2023.

A firm believer in the power of civil society and education, Dana has worked with numerous UN agencies and foundations on sustainability projects related to accessing education, refugee empowerment and youth advocacy.

She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University in 2017. She also holds an Executive Certificate in Advocacy in International Affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She is currently pursuing her MSc in Social and Public Communication with a focus on Behavioral Science at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
