Frederico Menino is Senior Program Officer the Open Society Foundations. As a part of OSF’s Education and Ideas Collaborative, Frederico oversees the Open Society University Network (OSUN). Frederico obtained his PhD in Sociology and Higher Education Studies from The New School for Social Research, and his master’s degree in Political Science from the University of São Paulo. Between 2012 and 2017, Frederico served as Education Attaché for the Brazilian Foreign Ministry in New York. Lately, Frederico was member of the inaugural team at Schwarzman Scholars, where he led the program’s engagement strategy in Latin America, Africa and Europe.
