Raquel Armendariz Sucunza currently serves as a Project Lead, Communications at the Global Schools Program. She holds a bachelor’s in International Relations and earned a Postgraduate-Diploma in Public Policy, Political Science and Government after completing her studies in Spain and the US. She is finishing a Master’s in Communication, Culture, Society and Politics. She has over five years of experience working in advocacy and communications roles internationally in several well-renowned organizations, including the SDG Academy. Passionate about political advocacy, environmental justice and women’s rights, her articles have been published in different international media outlets. She’s also a Climate Reality Leader.
Raquel Armendariz will speak on a panel titled, “SDG 17: Where do we go from here?” and will facilitate a workshop on “Inspiring Global Citizenship: How to build global education projects in Schools and youth-led organizations.”
