A native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Barbara Betts is passionate about the learning process and loves to work with people with different life experiences.
She is currently a member of an academic laboratory that studies the interdisciplinary relation between Design and Education. With experiences within various teaching environments, she is currently working on a project about creating methodologies to teach different subjects as her master’s degree.
She works in a global non profit organization as a member of training and development leadership committee, and prepares Brazilian youth to be responsible in making impact in different local communities around the world.
She believes that the best way to connect with youth is by understanding their background. She does this by using the SDG’s to start this conversation and approach the world’s most important topics to work on. She believes that everyone is a lifelong learner and has a capacity of starting the project of their dreams.
