“I’m looking forward to being part of an event that brings together young leaders from diverse backgrounds! The AFS Youth Assembly is such an inspiring platform to spark meaningful conversations and collaboration for innovation and positive social impact.”
I am driven by the possibilities of social impact through transformative education. I love contributing to lifelong learning processes that help develop global competence, fostering collaboration and connection between people. Since 2013, I’ve been working with learning design, development, and facilitation of intercultural education programs at a global level. The positive impact of the projects I’ve collaborated with has reached over 30,000 participants in 60+ countries.
Ana Carolina will lead a workshop titled, “Cultivating Global Solidarity through Collaboration Skills.”
This session will introduce participants to solidarity as a core capacity for active global citizenship and collaborating across differences, by exploring how they can put their collaboration skills into practice to contribute to a better future. Participants will have hands-on experience with how they interact with people of diverse cultural backgrounds, describe the interactions of others, and walk away with tangible ideas on how to foster collaboration in their working context, with colleagues, or for their personal development.
