Angelo Cardona is a human rights defender and social entrepreneur. He is the Co-founder and President of the Ibero-American Alliance for Peace and the representative of Latin America to the International Peace Bureau (IPB).
Cardona has represented Colombia in more than 15 countries and has spoken on peace and human rights issues in different international decision-making scenarios, including the European Parliament, British Parliament, German Parliament, United States Congress, Argentine Congress, and the United Nations. He is a Business Administration student at the University of the People and won a scholarship to attend Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. His work and leadership have earned him the 21st Century Icon Awards, the Diana Legacy Award, the Youth Leadership Award, and a nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize.
