Shraddha Shrestha Bimala comes from Dolakha, Nepal currently residing at Dallas, Texas. She recently graduated from University of Texas at Arlington with bachelor’s in business management. She has been working on two of the Sustainable Development Goals i.e., quality education and health through various nonprofit organizations and her own foundation “Purple Thread Foundation” since 2017. This foundation funds scholarships for unprivileged children of rural Nepal.
Last year Shraddha embarked on the journey of providing better health care to rural village of Nepal where people are losing life due to lack of basic medicines and necessities. She co-founded Yeti Foundation like-minded people where her mission is to “give and heal the community together” by building health post and supply of medicines to locals in collaboration with local bodies and organization of rural village.
She also owns and has been running an insurance business for three years. Every year a portion of the profit goes to the charity. She is also a radio DJ and show producer who runs on air radio show on one of the biggest FMs in Dallas. She is affiliated to various organization in the community, and currently serves as Secretary at Nepalese American Chamber of Commerce (501c3).
